starting off
got the first task done with (my part, anyway) in a long line of tasks leading up to the completion of this project. finished filling out and turned in my form to apply for independent study. nothing really major, it’s just one step towards further commitments. or something.
i intend for this blog to document my journey through this chemistry project. it will not be a listing of notes and experiments (though they may be mentioned); instead, i will be using this to keep track of my general progress, and as an anecdotal reference (hopefully somewhat amusing) of the trials and tribulations i will no doubt encounter on my way. if all goes well, this blog will document the next two years of my life (in the library and lab, anyways). may this serve as a guide for future scientists who also have no idea what they are doing. i’ll try to keep it entertaining.
